Experienced Furniture & Interior Designer
Hi! My name is Ani. I have 4 years of official work experience, plus 2 more as a freelancer. I come from Armenia and currently reside in Limassol, Cyprus. I have always been passionate about interior and furniture design, and my experience combines both — from spatial Interior Design to hands-on Furniture Development. I am a designer who deeply understands the hidden aspects of customers' preferences, and I take pride in translating those into thoughtful, detailed designs. I am diligent, a fast learner, and highly communicative.
This is one of my freelance commissions — a client who wanted to endow his apartment with an aristocratic, classy touch. From the beginning, I knew the design called for something exceptional: striking an exquisite balance between formal neoclassical impression and the warmth of an organic, nature-driven palette. Working with materials that carried texture and depth, I mixed muted rocky tones with structured architectural lines. The final result was precisely what I wanted — timeless, refined, stern.
This project is an object of elegance — a living space that is both minimalistic and designed during my tenure as a Furniture Designer at JL Expo, it called on me to bridge two disciplines: the macro perspective of spatial planning and the micro craft of furniture selection and placement. Proportions, sightlines, and material finishes - all carefully considered to create a room that breathes with quiet cohesion.
This bedroom, designed during my time at Futura Group, was part of a larger villa project for a client based in Cyprus. Though the brief extended across the full residence, the bedroom is where I was given the creative latitude to fully realise my own design sensibility. Working within a strict, elegant aesthetic — the client's clear preference — I approached the space as a sanctuary: considered zoning, a restrained material palette with strong tonal contrast, and bespoke detailing that gives the room its sense of quiet authority. It remains one of my most personally meaningful works, a space where client intent and designer vision arrived at exactly the same place.
This work was done during my days at JL Expo. The project was about designing furniture pieces for a client from Russia residing in Cyprus. Knowing the Cypriot market, I knew I had to give it my best, and I ended up designing the whole hall furniture set. Using ArchiCAD to model and detail every piece, I tried to keep it monochromatic in terms of color, while still adding that unmistakably luxurious touch.
Another project in the same line was a kitchen set. The details had to be meticulous, and the spirit in which I designed this furniture set needed to intertwine with that of the whole apartment — posh, elegant and rich. Working primarily in ArchiCAD and AutoCAD, I managed to develop this design with every minute detail accounted for, from cabinet proportions to surface finishes.
My last favorite project is the bedroom set for a client based in Armenia. The client wanted a luxurious and elegant bedroom set, and I managed to create a design that perfectly matched their expectations. The set features a king-sized bed with a luxurious canopy and a matching dresser, all modeled and detailed in ArchiCAD. The design is simple yet elegant, with a focus on functionality and comfort.
